PATIENT is the word that defines us when we must follow medical instructions or keep calm while we wait. PATIENT is Nubia, a single mother who, despite living with the anguish of losing her daughter to an aggressive cancer, manages to navigate with admirable firmness and conviction the labyrinthine processes of the health system on which her daughter’s life depends.
